Asus brings Transformer Book T300 Chi, ZenBook UX305 tablets

LONDON: Asus has announced the Transformer Book T300 Chi and ZenBook UX305 are officially available in local market.

The Transformer Book T300 Chi is a convertible tablet that can be transformed into a notebook by detaching the tablet to a magnetic docking Bluetooth keyboard. It is running Windows 8.1.

It offers a 13.3 inch Full HD IPS display that combo with a 1.2 GHz Intel Core M-5Y71 Dual Core hyper threading processor. It is mated with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of SSD storage. Weighing at just 1.43 kg, the T300 Chi is certainly a powerhouse in disguise.

Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi will be available at local market by end of this month, and it will be retailed at RM3, 199, while the WQHD+ T300 Chi will be available within one or two months time after today’s launch date.

Asus also unveiled two models of ZenBook UX305 to the local market. Both models carry a 13.3 inch Full HD display. They weigh at 1.2 kg and sport a super slim thickness of just 12.3 mm.

Being Asus infamous ultrabook model, the new ZenBook UX305 also features ultimate touch experience in Windows 8.1. They are powered by Intel Core M processor that packed with 128 and 256 GB of SSD storage respectively. They also mated with 4 GB of RAM with an option to increase it to 8 GB.

The Intel M 5Y70/128 GB SSD variant ZenBook UX305 cost RM2, 399 while the Intel M 5Y71/256 GB SSD version is retailed at RM2, 999. Both models will be available in market by end of this month.

It is also known that Asus Malaysia is going to release the QHD+ version ZenBook UX305 to market within a month or two after the launch date today. Its retail price shall be revealed on a later date.
