NEW DELHI: Asus new Zenfone Selfie has two 13 megapixel cameras on the rear and front of the phone. The back camera has a LED flash and laser autofocus that works as a personal spotlight. The front also has a LED flash, but no laser technology. The device will also have a 5.5-inch full HD screen and a Qualcomm Snapdragon octa-core processor.
Aside from the high megapixel cameras that will enhance selfie shots, the phone also has a few other features to help narcissistic cellphone owners take better self-portraits.
The Zenfone Selfie will have a “beautification mode” that automatically evens skin tones and hides blemishes, shadows and shard contrasts. It will also have a selfie button than can quickly activate the front camera and a “selfie mode” that allows users to swipe an “S” on the screen and pull up the camera.
There’s more: it comes with a selfie swing. The selfies swing is a case that in essence works as shorter version of the selfie stick. It doubles up as a swing and an arm extender it can also work as a case.
The Zenfone Selfie was first launched as a prototype at the Computer trade show in Taiwan, but it will be released globally along with its swing later in 2015.
