NEW DELHI: Asus is all set to launch three new smartphone models in India at ZenFestival event on 6th August in country’s capital. At a preview event held yesterday, company has wrapped off the handsets named Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe, Zenfone 2 Selfie, Zenfone 2 Laser 5.0 and Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5, which it plans to unveil next week at ZenFestival.
It seems that ASUS is targeting the Indian market three-way – at the Selfie-crazy consumers, lower price band and trying to play a flagship killer, at the same time.
At the Preview Meet event, ASUS Managing Director – Peter Chang said, “We are stern about the Indian market, which is rising stronger day by day and that is why we went to do something different. We will showcase more new products and share their prices at the ZenFestival.”
ASUS Zenfone 2 Deluxe (ZE551ML)
The ASUS ZenFone 2 Deluxe (ZE551ML) offers top-of-the-line specifications at half of the price of a flagship smartphone. The handset features a 13.9cm (5.5-inch) Full HD IPS display at 403ppi with ASUS TrueVivid Full Screen Lamination technology, which is further protected by Anti Scratch Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Powered by a powerful Intel 64-bit Z3580 processor clocked at 2.3GHz and coupled with LPDDR3 4GB RAM, the Zenfone 2 Deluxe offers 64GB of in-built storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot).
On the camera front, Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe sports a 13MP PixelMaster Camera with larger F/2.0 aperture, 5-element Autofocus lens and a dual-color Real Tone flash support. And a 5MegaPixel front-facing camera.
The Zenfone 2 Deluxe runs on brand-new ASUS ZenUI 2.0 with Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out-of-the-box. And a 3,000mAh lithium-polymer battery with BoostMaster fast-changing technology completes the pack.

The ASUS Zenfone 2 Selfie (ZD551KL) is especially dedicated to all the Selfie lovers and features a 13.9cm (5.5-inch) Full HD IPS display at 403ppi with ASUS TrueVivid Full Screen Lamination technology and glove touch support, which is further protected by Anti Scratch Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
Powered by a powerful Qualcomm 64-bit Octa Core Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) chipset coupled with 2GB/3GB LPDDR3 RAM and a Qualcomm Adreno 405 GPU, the Zenfone 2 Selfie offers 16GB/32GB of inbuilt storage (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot).
On the camera front, ASUS Zenfone 2 Selfie sports a 13MP PixelMaster Autofocus Camera with larger F/2.0 aperture and a dual-color Real Tone flash support with Zero Shutter Lag. And the same 13MegaPixel front-facing camera with Real Tone flashes.

On the camera front, Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.0 sports a 13MP PixelMaster Camera with larger F/2.0 aperture, Laser Auto Focus lens and a dual-color Real Tone flash support. And a 5MP PixelMaster front-facing camera for video calling and selfies.
