ATIR adjourns hearing of M/s Klaguardia Logistics after submission of documents

ISLAMABAD: The Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR) dated in office the hearing of a case filed by the M/s Klaguardia Logistics after the submission of documents of the case.

Accountant Member Dr Ghulam Mujtaba Bhatti was hearing the case involving Federal Board of Revenue and M/s Klaguardia Logistics.

M/s Klaguardia Logistics had challenged the recovery of the outstanding income tax by the LTU Islamabad.

M/s Klaguardia Logistics had submitted that the department had issued the demand for the Tax Year 2016 under the head of income tax under the provisions of the Income Tax Ordinance-2001.
The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and officers of the LTU, including Commissioner Inland Revenue, Commissioner Inland Revenue (Appeals) and Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR), were made respondents in the case. The case was remanded back to the tribunal by the IHC a couple of months ago.

The case is one of the many ones remanded back by the IHC and being heard at the tribunal.
