ATIR to hear tax matter filed by M/s Shalimar Recording & Broadcasting Company

ISLAMABAD: A bench of the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue (ATIR) will hear a tax matter on Tuesday filed by M/s Shalimar Recording and Broadcasting Company.

ATIR Accountant Member Dr Ghulam Mujtaba Bhatti will hear the case. M/s Shalimar Recording and Broadcasting Company had contested show cause notices issued by the field offices of Federal Board of Revenue.

According to details, M/s Shalimar Recording and Broadcasting Company had challenged recovery notice issued to it under the head of outstanding income tax by the LTU, Islamabad.

M/s Shalimar Recording and Broadcasting Company had submitted the department had issued the demand for the tax year 2014 in head of income tax under provisions of Income Tax Ordinance, 2001.

M/s Shalimar Recording and Broadcasting Company prayed that the assessment order issued by the LTU officer was illegal, unlawful and without legal grounds.
