Attock Refinery to make operational its DHDS Unit

KARACHI: Attock Refinery Limited (ARL) has said to have made operational its Diesel Hydro Desulphurization (DHDS) Unit, according to a stock filing.

The development, according to ARL’s company secretary Saif Ur Rehman Mirza, was made as part of ARL Up-Gradation project.

The operation of DHDS Unit on Monday, July 4, would enable the refiners to produce High Speed Diesel (HSD) meeting low sulphur (500 ppm) Euro-II specifications after completion of successful performance test of the unit. “The supply of Euro-II compliant HSD to oil marketing companies has been started,” said Saif.
