Auction at East Wharf today

KARACHI: The Model Customs Collectorate (Preventive) will be holding an auction of general cargo, vehicles, precious stones and a wide variety of other goods on Monday (today).

Items offered on “as is where is basis” auction scheduled to be held at 10:30 a.m.at Ghasbandar, East Wharf, Karachi, include art silk/ cotton wicks tape; curtain cloth of assorted size; assorted cell phone batteries; old and used Tvs, cameras; old and used iron, DVD players, tape recorders, sewing machines; Juicers, used tyres, used tubeless tyres; sofa cloths; used fridge, vaccum cleaners; used microwave ovens, toatser/juicer; ladies cloth; black tea; 3000 yards Gents cloth; cigarettes; CNG cylinders and shampoo.

A used Honda Inspire car 2005 model; chassis of a Toyota Land Cruiser 1998 model; Model 200 Toyota Mark-II 2000cc car; BMW 7301 Model 2004 car; Toyota Land Cruiser jeep 1996 model; Toyota Land Cruiser jeep 1993 model; 1993 model Toyota Surf; 1992 model Mitsubishi Pajero, 1996 model Toyota Lexus Vendum and Toyota Mark II 2000 model would also be offered at the auction.

Semi-precious stones including 80 grams quartz rough; jank used imitation, synthetic stone, immitation golden stone, Zargon stones, glass stone, cheap quality ruby, emeralds, amithiset, Citrin, blue sapphire, lapis Lazuli would auction be auctioned.

The successful bidders have to pay 25 percent of the bid money through cash or pay order on the spot and 10 percent Income tax would be payable on the bid amount along with the bid amount. Sealed tender with pay order of 25 percent in the name of Collector of Customs (Preventive) would also be acceptable against any lot offered at the auction.
