DETROIT: The all-new, next-generation Audi Q7 was named winner of the EyesOn Design Awards “Best Designed Interior” Category at the 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
The full-size premium SUV, which offers more headroom, shoulder room and legroom along with exceptional integration of technology, continues the Audi reputation of designing great interiors.
The Audi Q7 is the first-ever vehicle to be honored with the “Best Designed Interior” award. The SUV was also named a finalist in the “Innovative Use of Color, Graphics, and Material” category.
The EyesOn Design Awards are given to the most significant automotive designs revealed at NAIAS as determined by North American and global leaders of design from automotive manufacturers, along with academic chairs of transportation design programs and design leaders from other fields.
The 2016 Q7 introduces new design language to both exterior and interior features, featuring a lightweight, multi material body and all-new chassis.
While the exterior dimensions have remained similar to the outgoing model, the Q7 offers substantially more interior room for passengers offering seating for up to seven passengers.
Through a combination of clean and simple lines, minimizing the number of buttons while offering more technological controls than ever, the Q7 interior offers drivers and passengers alike a great environment and a comfortable driving experience.
