NEW DELHI: German automaker Audi has also been well known for its smart automotive lighting technology apart from its technological advancements in the automotive technology segment. The automaker expects to steal limelight at the Frankfurt Motor show by introducing new Matrix OLED lights that is claimed to be multiple times better than that conventional LED lights.
The multitude of individual lights have been developed in a such a manner that when switched on and off it effectively creates ‘shadow’ for oncoming cars and pedestrians via the headlights’ dazzle. The OLED’s are indeed fat light sources as against semiconductor crystals that are used by older LED light system. The company would describe the technology in detail during the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show.
