Australia: Renault Megane RS 275 Trophy-R sets new lap record, Audi working on RS3, Ford slash Mustang price

SYDNEY: Australia now a days is a hot auto market for the carmakers. Australian car markets also set new record of largest number of car selling in February 2015.australia once again in the news for its auto market. The : Renault Megane RS 275 Trophy-R set a new lap record while Audi is now working on RS3 sedan while ford has slashed half the price of Ford Mustang in Australia.

Yesterday, Carxmotor publish story about Ford Australia release prices for the all-new Mustang, which start from $44,990, it’s for 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine and six-speed manual, but an optional six-speed auto will be offered at a $2500 premium.

And last, report says that the Germany company which today bring all-new R8 at the Geneva Motor Show working on the new RS3 sedan.

Audi has confirmed it is working on an RS3 sedan to join the hotly anticipated Sportback that will reach Australian showrooms this year. Having received an overwhelming response to its new S3 sedan, Audi is understood to be working on an RS3 sedan to potentially debut at the 2015 Frankfurt motor show in September.

Asked whether the sedan would be more popular than a Sportback, Audi’s quattro division, Heinz Hollerweger, said: “I think you have to look at different markets. In Europe the Sportback is very popular, but in the US and also in China, the sedans are more popular. Each car will have different markets.”
