Australian dollar falls to 5-day against major currencies

PERTH: The Australian dollar fell to 5-day lows of 85.67 against the yen and 1.5870 against the euro, from yesterday’s closing quotes of 86.21 and 1.5758, respectively.

Against the New Zealand and the Canadian dollars, the aussie dropped to 1.1153 and 0.9333 from yesterday’s closing quotes of 1.1213 and 0.9343, respectively.
