KARACHI: With a view to help Pakistan balance its trade, the Australian government will slash import tariff on Pakistani textile to a maximum of five percent. Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan Peter Heyward revealed while addressing the annual dinner of Pakistan Australia Business Forum (PABF).

Peter Heyward pointed out that the ICC World Cup would draw attention of cricket playing nations to Australia which was a considerable attraction for Pakistan as well.

Meanwhile, Australian Trade Commissioner Patrick Kearins said that the Australian companies were willing to impart technical training to the Pakistani youth to reduce unemployment and develop their career.
