PERTH: The Australian share market has closed slightly lower as Chinese markets fluctuate wildly.
At the close on Tuesday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was 5.2 points, or 0.09 per cent, lower at 5,584.7, while the broader All Ordinaries index was down 8.2 points, or 0.15 per cent, at 5,571.0.
On the ASX 24, the September share price index futures contract was eight points lower at 5,530, with 33,919 contracts traded.
