SYDNEY: The Australian sharemarket looks likely to snap a six-day winning streak after investors were given soft leads as earnings weighed on Wall Street.
At 12.05pm (AEST), the benchmark S & P/ASX200 lost 51.4 points, or 0.9 per cent, to 5,661.1, while the broader All Ordinaries index declined 48.3 points, or 0.85 per cent, to 5,640.2.
In the US, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 1 per cent, while the S & P 500 slipped 0.4 per cent.
