CANBERRA: Australian network interconnection provider Megaport reported revenues of AUD 2.68 million in its first full-year financial results. The company’s aggressive expansion into new regions such as North America and Europe, as well as its acquisition of Bulgaria’s Om-Nix and Germany’s Peering, led to a net loss of AUD 21.35 million. In the past 12 months Megaport has increased its number of ports from 325 to 736, its number of locations from 36 to 102 and the number of countries in which it’s present from 4 to 17. Total customers were also up by 135 to 314.
