EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP: An Egg Harbor Township man faces charges after investigators seized $10,000 worth of heroin, assault rifles and fentanyl from his home, authorities said.
Roberto Curry, 28, was arrested when detectives with the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Unit served a search warrant at his residence, according to Prosecutor Jim McClain.
In all, detectives found 1242 bags of heroin, two assault rifles along with various drug cutting agents and paraphernalia, the prosecutor said in a statement.
The arrest came after a month-long drug investigation, McClain added. Curry faces charges, including maintaining a drug production facility, heroin distribution, possession of two assault rifles, possession of assault rifles as a prohibited person and drug distribution within 1,000 feet of a school. Curry was ordered held in lieu of $500,000, full cash bail.
