US: Authorization for the government bank that has helped more than 100 Arizona businesses do international business expired early Wednesday, leaving the Export-Import Bank in “uncharted territory” for the first time in its 81 years.
The White House said this that the bank helped more than 7,500 businesses export more than $235 billion worth of goods between fiscal years 2009 to 2014. more than $1.1 billion in the same period, and 92 of those firms were small businesses, according to the White House.
