Ayyan Ali’s bail: LHC issues written judgment

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued written judgment in Ayyan Ali bail case. A special emissary reached Rawalpindi from Lahore to carry out the court orders.

A two-member bench of the LHC, headed by Justice Anwarul Haq, has issued the written judgment.  In the detail judgment, the court says that there is criminal record available against Ayyan Ali and she was arrested by Airport Security Force counter, and she was not able to reach Customs counter even she did not deposit her luggage details with Customs counter.

The court also writes in judgment that there was no tag on Ayyan Ali luggage nor she obtained boarding pass. The court further said that it was still unclear whether Ayyan Ali wanted to take the money abroad or not. Ayyan Ali is still in judicial remand and there is no need for further investigations against her.
