LAHORE: Supermodel Ayyan Ali, who was in hot water due to the charges of currency smuggling, appeared on the social media after getting bail and thanked Allah and her friends for supporting her.
She was released on bail just before Eidul Fitr and she spent Eid days with her friends and family.
She approached the social media website Twitter and shared her feelings.
She was in jail for almost four months and appeared before the court 13 times to get bail.
The supermodel was arrested on March 14 at the Islamabad airport by customs authorities when she tried to carry $500,000 illegally to Dubai. Ayyan termed the whole case “a conspiracy” against her and her career.
