BAKU: Azerbaijani and Brazilian officials have discussed the development of cooperation in the field of customs between the two countries.
The two sides have exchanged views on the establishment of legal framework and issues of mutual visits. The potential for development of cooperation between the two countries in the sphere of customs has been recognised by both sides.
Brazil’s interests in customs cooperation with Azerbaijan have grown at a faster pace. Diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Brazil were established in 1993. Brazilian Embassy in Azerbaijan was opened in June 2009. Azerbaijan’s Embassy was established in Brazil in 2012.
