Azerbaijan customs achieves budget 2015 target by 57.04% 

BAKU: State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan ensured implementation of the forecast on customs transfers to the State Budget 2015 (AZN 1.59 bn) by 57.04%.

The SCC reports that in July it transferred AZN 141.59 million to the State Budget versus AZN 140.26 million in June, AZN 141.82 million in May, AZN 141.307 million in April, AZN 132.416 million in March, AZN 105.78 million in February, AZN 103.746 million in January 2015 and AZN 135.255 million in July 2014.

“For Jan-Jul 2015 the Committee transferred AZN 906.927 million against AZN 732.9 million a year earlier,” the Committee informed. As a result, their growth is equal to 23.75% year-on-year.

In July transfers included AZN 31.058 million of customs duties, AZN 106.6 million of VAT, almost 8.436 million of excise duties and AZN 1.46 million of road tax.

For comparison, in 2014 transfers to the budget from the State Customs Committee totaled AZN 1,510.759 million against target of AZN 1.51 bn.
