Azerbaijani Customs ensured over 73pc of budget transfers in 2013

BAKU: Azerbaijani State Customs Committee (SCC) transferred 1.01 billion manat ($1.3 billion) to the state budget in January-September 2013 through collection of customs duties and taxes, according to a report from SCC.

According to the report, income from customs duties in September amounted to 214.38 million manat, value-added tax of imported goods was 723.45 million manat, excise taxes – 60.68 million manat and road tax – 13.28 million manat. A forecast of transfers through the SCC for 2013 was set at 1.38 billion manat.
