Azerbaijan’s Customs Committee increased transfers to State Budget by 1.37 times for Jan-Mar

BAKU: Over Jan-Apr the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan (SCC) transferred 34.41% of the forecast of transfer for 2017 (AZN 2.2 bn).

The SCC reports that in April the State Budget was transferred AZN 187.01 million versus AZN 202.177 million in March, AZN 194.938 million in February, AZN 173.96 million in January 2017 and AZN 227.397 million in April 2016. “For Jan-Apr 2017 the State Budget received AZN 757.09 million from the SCC versus AZN 644.3 million a year before,” the Committee reported. As a result, SCC’s transfers increased by 17.5%. In April transfers included AZN 56.6 million on customs duties, AZN 120.059 million on VAT, AZN 7.718 million on excise duties and AZN 2.6 million on road tax. In 2016 the SCC transferred AZN 2.29 bn to State Budget last year. August’s transfers were the highest for the past year – AZN 244.09 million.
