BAKERSFIELD: Multiple people were arrested and large quantities of drugs were seized the Drug Enforcement Administration and local law enforcement agencies served six search warrants in and around Bakersfield.
The DEA and Bakersfield Police Department conducted a joint investigation into a drug trafficking organization. The primary suspect was identified as 28-year-old Jorge Roman, who operated a marijuana dispensary on Niles Street.
Officers seized about 23 pounds of suspected methamphetamine and 6.1 kilograms of suspected marijuana, according to police.
Roman was arrested, along with 18-year-old Angel Gonzalez, 26-year-old Louis Castenon, 51-year-old Patricia Garcia, 21-year-old Lionel Ramirez, and 24-year-old Blair Jones.
