DHAKA: Bangladesh made a routine payment of US$907 million to the Asian Clearing Union (ACU) against imports during the July-August period of this calendar year, officials said.
After clearing the payment, the country’s foreign exchange reserve came down to $25.40 billion on Sunday. It was $ 26.40 billion on Thursday. The amount of payment rose to $907 million in the last installment, from $901 million of the previous one, according to the central bankers.
