The state minister urged the youths to undergo government training. He said 70 percent of the population is aged below 35 who are being trained to be skilful. He advised the students to enrol in government training alongside academic education. “It will not be enough to get good jobs with only textbook knowledge. You’ll also need skills in information technology,” Palak said.

He said a Tk 1 billion IT park will be established on a five-acre land at the university and its library will be digitised. A game for Android operating system, ‘Muktijuddho-71’, was launched at the programme chaired by Vice-Chancellor Iftekhar Uddin Chowdhury.
