DUBLIN: Bank of Ireland UK has hired Andy Cooke as corporate account manager for the southwest region. He was formerly Mortgage Advice Bureau regional business development manager. Cooke replaces Jane Knowles, who has been promoted to manager of the intermediary telephone account management team. Cooke will become the main point of contact for brokers in the southwest. He will build relationships with brokers, answer queries and provide support. He says: “Having worked as both a broker and corporate account manager previously, I understand the challenges faced in the market, and I am delighted to be given this new opportunity with Bank of Ireland UK in order to continue Jane’s great work.” Bank of Ireland UK head of corporate accounts Iain Smith says: “We are pleased to welcome Andy to the team, and are already using his valuable experience to support our brokers. I look forward to working with him to strengthen intermediary relationships over the coming months.”
