Banks to seal their return to profits in Q1 results

ATHENS: Greek banks are preparing for their official return to profits after six years of consecutive losses, as the financial figures for the first quarter are expected to be published as of Tuesday, when Eurobank issues its Q1 results.

Analysts expect an increase in Eurobank’s revenues, and a reduction in expenditure and new nonperforming loans.
