ISLAMABAD: Designated bank branches will remain open on Saturday to collect the second installment of Hajj 2026 dues, officials confirmed on Thursday.

According to bank authorities, the decision was taken on the request of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony to make the process smoother for applicants. All nominated branches will open their doors on 15 November 2025 (Saturday) from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Officials said the move aims to make things easier, speed up the process, and take the pressure off applicants who are trying to submit their payments on time.

They added that keeping the branches open on the weekend will help Hajj applicants who find it difficult to visit banks on regular working days.

The ministry has urged all intending pilgrims to step forward, get their paperwork in order, and deposit their dues within the given timeline to avoid any last-minute issues.
