DHAKA: Customs at Beirut’s Rafik Hariri International Airport foiled an attempt by a Swedish national to smuggle a large quantity of narcotics into Lebanon.
Sources said customs intercept a Swedish national at airport and take him for investigation. After checking it was found that man was carrying illegal drugs to smuggle them into Lebanon.
Customs has registered the case against man according to customs laws on smuggling of narcotics inside Lebanon.
