NEW YORK: The Belle Fourche Chamber of Commerce celebrated its volunteers with an appreciation dinner Dec. 18.
“Everyone loved it,” said Jessica Carmichael at the Dec. 21 city council meeting during her Chamber report. “It was a good chance to relax and socialize.”
Carmichael added that the Chamber is looking to plan another appreciation night in the future because it was so well received.
On average, volunteers put in about three to six volunteer hours a week at the Chamber. A total of 18 volunteers and their spouses attended the appreciation night, which included a meal from Greg Mondilla.
James and Robin Ager also allowed the dinner to be served in their location next to the Chamber office.
Ballots have also been sent out for Chamber board elections. Voting ends Dec. 31.
Interviews are also still occurring for a new Chamber director.
