NEW YORK: Fans of Bethesda are waiting to get their hands on popular Elder Scrolls Online. The game was expected to come out last year but was postponed, as Bethesda felt it required further time.

Users were waiting for a new release date to be announced, but the company kept their silence on the matter. It’s not uncommon though for online retailers, such as Amazon to leak release dates early. However, most of the time they don’t turn out to be true.

But when a major companies, Microsoft, leaks a release date, it’s considered as a big deal.

Little less than a week ago, Microsoft listed the awaited Elder Scrolls Online for Xbox One as a February 24, 2015 release.

However, Bethesda’s confirmation was missing from the scene. The company has finally commented on the matter and stated that they “haven’t announced a release date.

Microsoft Store has now changed their     attitude as well, and once again posted a release window of 2015. As for the February 2015 release date, it can’t be said for sure if this was just a mistake or actual information being leaked early.
