BKIAP earns Rs13.12m taxes & surcharges during Feb.1st and 15th

ISLAMABAD: The Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar (BKIAP) earned Rs13.12million all taxes and surcharges during 1st of February and 15th FY2016-17.

According to sources of the BKIAP, the customs staff at Peshawar airport collected Rs4.44million Customs Duty whereas it did Rs0.60millions miscellaneous surcharges. The BKIAP generated Rs0.30million Redemption Duty on Imports whereas it did Rs4.03million Sales Tax.

During above said period, the BKIAP received Rs0.51million Sales Tax on Imports whereas it did Rs3.75million Additional Income Tax. The BKIAP collected Rs5.09million all duties and taxes during the first 15 days of January of Financial Year (FY) 2016-17. During the first 15 days, it collected Rs1.40million Customs Duty whereas under the head of various surcharges and duties, the customs department collected Rs0.27million Redemption Duty on Imports and the customs collected revenue of Rs0.03million.

Under the head of total Sales Tax, revenue of Rs1.67million was collected. Under the head of Sales Tax on Imports, revenue of Rs1.67million was collected. Under the head of additional Income Tax, revenue of Rs1.53million was generated. During 15 days of January 2016-17, the BKIAP collected Rs6.56million all duty taxes and Rs1.68million Customs Duty.

During December of FY2016-17, it collected Rs0.30million various duty and taxes, did Rs0.35million Redemption Duty on Imports, received Rs2.40million Sales Tax, did Rs0.17million Sales Tax on Imports and got Rs1.66million Additional Income Tax.
