LONDON: The Wii U port stretch goal was unveiled when Bloodstained‘s Kickstarter hit the $2.75 million mark in pledges, and now a $3,500,000 Vita stretch goal lies buried in the dungeon of the “stretch goal castle” that IGA’s team uses show off what’s next. The $2.75 million goal was a guarantee that the castle in Bloodstained would be 25% larger than any other castle seen in an IGAVania game, which equates to roughly a 12.5 hour game, according to a recent AMA that Igarashi hosted on Reddit.
Armature Studios is made up of former Retro Studios alumni, most famously Mark Pacini, the man responsible for directing the Metroid Prime trilogy. The studio has worked on many ports since its establishment, such as the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection and porting Injustice: Gods Among Us to the Playstation Vita. They have announced on one of Bloodstained’s update pages that they look forward to working on Bloodstained since it plays in a similar style to Metroid games of the past.
