MEXICO: It has been reported that blue moon will soon appear in the Maryland. The blue moon is the second full moon of this month. As per experts, it appears on the third of four full moons appearing in a season and is a second full moon in a calendar month.
Blue moons occur rarely. They only occur nearly every two and a half years, in calendar months that have more than 29.5 days.
It will be possible to see the blue moon on Friday, July 31st, at 8:22 PM in Baltimore. As per reports, until 2018, the next blue moon will not occur. In fact, 2018 will come with two blue moons; the first one will appear in January and the second in March.
In the beginning of a lunar eclipse, a small blue band of light appears, as a result of the light from the sun that passes through the Earth’s atmosphere. It refracts to give a blue tint to the moon. It could be observed if dust or smoke of a definite size is there in the air, which is usually a dust storm or volcanic eruption. It helps scatter the particles in a manner which allows the blue light to appear.
