BMW 6-Series is getting ready for sale in Australia

SYDNEY: The updated BMW 6-Series is now preparing for sale in Australia too. The second right-hand drive market in which the 2015 BMW 6-Series will be arriving is Australia. According to the car manufacturer, the cheapest version of the model will be the 640i Coupe which will start from 177,900 AUD. This will be followed by the same engine in the Gran Coupe, which costs 184,900 USD while the 640i Convertible can be yours from 184,900 AUD. The only diesel option is the 640d Gran Coupe, which can be yours from 184,900 AUD. The 650i Coupe costs from 231,900 AUD, being followed by the Gran Coupe, at 238,900 AUD and the 650i Convertible, priced from 247,900 AUD.

Some of the standard features added to the range include the Adaptive LED headlights, the Driving Assistant Plus with the active cruise control, the DAB+ Digital Radio, Parking Assistant, Lane Change Warning, surround view camera and soft-closing doors. The 640i spec has a 3.0L six-cylinder turbocharged engine under its hood, rated at 235 kW and 450 Nm while the diesel option is a 3.0 liter turbo diesel with 230 kW and an impressive 630 Nm of torque, while the 650i is getting the 4.4 liter V8, producing 331 kW and 650 Nm of torque. The twin turbo powered M6 family is coming with the 4.4 liter V8 rated at 412 kW and 680 Nm of torque.
