FBR forms board in Post Clearance Audit for employees welfare

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue has constituted a Board for Common Pool Fund (CPF) in Directorate General of Post Clearance Audit, Islamabad.

According to a notification issued from Director Headquarters of PCA Naeem Ijaz Qureshi, Director Headquarters will be the chairman of the board and Additional Director Headquarters will be its members. Assistant Director Headquarters Secretary  and three others — grade 16 superintendent Salim Haider Dogar, grade 10 LDC Muhammad Sabir and Raja Sajid Liaqat will be members of the Board. The CPF will be responsible for funds generation policies and other matters related to it.

The CPF board will monitor CPF expenditures and regulate them. The board while keeping in view available resources will be authorized for reduction, deduction and ban under various heads. The board will strictly follow guide lines given in Unified CPF rules and any matter which is not settled under Unified CPF rules ,will be referred to Central CPF Board Headquarters.

It is pertinent to mention here that Common Pool Fund has been establshed for welfare of FBR employees and is spent with the consultation of the employees. PAC employees had been demanding constitution of this fund since long.
