AMMON: Border Guards foiled during the part 48 hours, an attempt to smuggle a large amount of drugs by three people who tried to cross from Syrian into Jordan, according to a military source at the General Headquarters of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army.
The source said that the Border Guards applied the rule of engagement forcing the infiltrators to flee back to the Syrian territories.
Upon a search of the area, Border Guards found 542 palm-sized sheets of hashish, 28,000 Captagon pills as well as a number of automatic weapons and referred them to concerned authorities.
