WASSHINGTON: U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents seized 41-pounds of methamphetamine at the Port of San Luis, on Saturday. Border Patrol officers were inspecting a 21-year-old man’s Nissan Sedan when a CBP narcotics-detection canine altered the officers to the meth hidden in the vehicle’s back seats.
Officers arrested the man and seized his vehicle along with the drugs estimated to be worth $123,000. The suspect was turned over to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security.
