It is a possibility that this mysterious disappearance was due to the licensing deal which got expired at the end of the year and wasn’t renewed.

Alien vs. Predator made its way to the stores back in 2010, whereas Colonial Marines was released in 2013. Colonial Marines didn’t manage to leave an impression on the players and was left with mediocre or bad reviews.

Alien vs. Predator, on the other hand, was a much better game. It allowed players to play as Aliens, Predators or even Colonial Marines. Each one came with their own particular set of skills and tools.

The game debuted at number one spot in the UK charts, and became the fastest selling game of 2010 in the said region. As of May, 2010, Alien vs. Predator had sold over 1.69 million copies.
