BRASILIA: Coffee exports from Brazil to the Arab world reached $134.5 million (Dh494 million) in the period between January and August of this year, marking a 4.7 per cent increase compared to the same time last year.
A total of 23.4 million bags of coffee have been shipped abroad.
Meanwhile, total exports from Brazil reached $4.1 billion so far, up 1 per cent, over the first eight months of 2014. In August alone, the South American country’s export revenues reached $451.7 million.
