BRASÍLIA: Brazil’s exports of pulp, wood panels and paper increased between January and November 2015. Pulp exports totaled 10.5 million tons, an increase of 9% over the same period in 2014.
The Brazilian wood panel sector exported 564,000 cubic metres in the January to November period in 2015 a 44% growth over the same period in the previous year.
In the first eleven months of 2015, revenue from exports of pulp, wood panels and paper totaled $7.1 billion, a 5.3% growth over the same period of 2014.
The trade balance of the pulp, wood panel and paper sector from January to November 2015 was $5.9 billion, an increase of 16.4% compared to the same period in 2014.
