WASHINGTON: SCUNTHORPE-based building and civil engineering firm Britcon has been awarded the contract to build a new £2.1 million bulk store for Associated British Ports (ABP).
The deal will see the company construct an 85-metre by 40-metre, steel-framed, reinforced concrete building to store dry bulk in four separate bays. Britcon will also install internal features such as LED lighting, SPV panels to the roof and external yard surfacing as part of the scheme at ABP’s port in King’s Lynn. Construction of the project is expected to finish in July.
