Building costs in Finland up by 0.5% in May 2015

HELSINKI: Building costs were 0.5 per cent higher year-on-year in May 2015, according to Statistics Finland. The prices of labour inputs in construction and the prices of materials rose by 0.4 per cent.

The prices of other inputs in May increased by 1.1 per cent compared to the same month of the year before. The total index of building costs rose slightly from April to May. The prices of labour inputs went down by 0.4 per cent and the prices of other inputs by 0.2 per cent in May.
