Business community must take advantage of amnesty scheme: PM Imran

KARACHI: Prime Minister Imran Khan has asked the business community to take advantage of amnesty scheme to help in concreting the economy where as to avoid any hardship in future.

According to the details, Prime Minister Imran Khan during his one day visit to Karachi met the members of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) along with other businessmen and industrialist in Governor House.

During the meeting the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan stated that “I wish the present government of the country to be known as friendly with the businessmen as well as the industrialist”. He said that “my mission is to eradicate poverty from the country for which the help of businessmen and industrialist is very important.

Previous governments have ruined the country’s economy by the mal-practices and corruption and when new government took charge the economy has crushed for which several viable steps have been taken to start finishing the financial crises, said Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Imran Khan once again announced that the people involved in ruining the economy and causing the financial crisis by thieving the money of the country will not be given soft corner, today the main issue to maintain the economy and to bring it to the level from where big goals can be achieved.

Imran Khan said that senior and well intelligent people have been assigned the duties in the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and State bank of Pakistan (SBP) only request businessmen as well as the industrialist to take advantage from the amnesty scheme.

Businessmen and the industrialists shared suggestion of with regards to boosting economy as well as lay down the problems being faced by them to which Prime Minister assured to be resolved as soon as possible.

Along with member Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), Employees Federation, Pakistan Readymade Garments, Pakistan Leader garments, Rice exporters, Pakistan Auto Motive Parts, Pakistan hardware Exports, Pakistan Demin Manufacturers, Towel Manufacturers, Pakistan Hosiery were also present during the meeting.
