TDAP: Fiber labs ready to assist growers to maintain, enhance quality of cotton

MULTAN: Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) is providing essential resources for the development of country exports, said Director (TDAP) Alamgir Khan.

Director (TDAP) Alamgir Khan was addressing the participants of a seminar on the topic of “ sustainability of cotton growth and quality.” He said that different initiatives would be taken to boost the exports of the country by giving opportunity to the business community for the promotion of their goods in foreign exhibitions. The seminar was organized with the collaboration of Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association and Trade Development of Pakistan.

For the prosperity of industry modern technology and upgradation of the manufacturing machinery is the need of the hour, he expressed. Mr. Alamgir Khan said that different trade delegations will attend the various business exhibition in the future to provide them platform for their products at the International level so we need to maintain fine quality for the competition with others.

“All the cotton stakeholders should perform their own task in the enhancement of their cotton export. The recently established cotton fiber laboratories will assist the cotton growers to progress the quality of cotton in the country and fine quality would achieve through the enhancement of technology,” he added.
