Business councils of Azerbaijan, Russia aim to accelerate bilateral projects

Moscow :The business councils of Azerbaijan and Russia aim to prevent delays both on the part of Russia and Azerbaijan in implementation of bilateral projects, Chairman of the Russia-Azerbaijan Business Council Alexey Repik said on the sidelines of the 9th Azerbaijan-Russia interregional forum.

He noted that there are broad relations between the companies of the two countries, but it is necessary to establish a system of relations.

“There is active cooperation between Russian and Azerbaijani companies, but there is no systemic work to find new participants as such,” Repik said.

Repik noted that he is pleased with the active work of the Azerbaijan-Russia Business Council, which is also interested in maximum fulfillment of the potential of bilateral cooperation.

“Therefore, we have signed an agreement to harmonize and direct the work of the two mirror institutions and to prevent any possibility of blocking or delaying bilateral projects on the part of both Russia and Azerbaijan,” Repik said.
