All of the positions are based at its Sandringham Park site, where the company currently employs more than 200 people.

As part of the recruitment drive, further employment opportunities are expected to be announced in the coming months.

The shared services centre provides back office services for the Department for Transport (DfT) and its executive agencies, and forms part of a UK Government plan to help save over £400m in administration costs.

Mathew Copp, site director, Swansea, arvato UK, said: “We are excited to provide new career opportunities for people here in Swansea, resulting from our growing business.

“For jobseekers, it’s an opportunity to work alongside key UK Government departments and join one of the world’s leading BPO companies.

“We’re really proud of our Swansea operation and will continue working extensively with the broader community, including Swansea Bay Futures, Swansea University and Swansea City Council, to promote the region as a great place to do business, whilst supporting other local community and charity groups.”
