Businessmen Group clean-sweeps APPMA annual elections

LAHORE: Businessmen Group has made a clean sweep in the Annual General Elections of All Pakistan Paper Merchants Association.

According to the results announced by the Election Commissioner, candidates of Businessmen Group Mian Amjad Hussain, Imran Khalid Chaudhryl Muhammad Reza, Sharafat Hussain, Muhammad Shan and Muhammad Naeem got success on all six seats.

Leader of Businessmen Group Khamis Saeed Butt, President of All Pakistan Paper Merchants Association (APPMA) Muhammad Ajmal and Vice President Khawaja Nadeem Saeed Wayeen said that business community has reposed confidence in the candidates of Businessmen Group while keeping in view their previous performance. They said that newly-elected members would continue their struggle to get the issues being faced by the business community solved.

LCCI’s new president would be the Chief Guest in the Annual General Meeting of APPMA to be held at LCCI on September 30, 2013.

Meanwhile, the LCCI former Presidents Mian Anjum Nisar, Mian Shafqat Ali, Muhammad Ali Mian, Chairman PIAF Malik Tahir Javed and representatives of business community have congratulated the Businessmen Group of All Pakistan Paper Merchants Association (APPMA) for winning the elections with a thumping majority.
