KARACHI: Renowned industrialist and Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) former president Siraj Kassam Teli has reiterated that the Businessmen Group is not supporting nor participating in the FPCCI’s election.

In a statement, Siraj Kassam Teli said, “The Business Group will continue its previous year’s policy of not participating in the FPCCI elections as we believe and know that bogus and fake associations/chambers still exist.”

Teli thanked the leadership of both the groups for making the commitment once again to cleanse FPCCI of all such fake and bogus entities.

“We will continue to watch which group is interested more in the compliance of Trade Organisation Ordinance (TOO) 2013 and getting rid of fake/bogus chambers and associations as both the groups have a good number of members,” he added.

Siraj Teli also regretted that due to the group policy he could not visit FPCCI to congratulate Rahim Janoo with whom he had special family relations and friendship.
